MatGrowth is a small agency that does two things — websites and search — for one kind of business. Not fitness. Not “wellness.” Martial arts schools, where the product is a first class and the sale is a stranger deciding to walk through the door.
I’m Ryan Deming, founder of MatGrowth. I’m the only point of contact — the inbox, the audit, the monthly call. Production is a team; the relationship is not. You will not get handed to an account manager who wasn’t on the first call, and you will not have to escalate to find out who is accountable.
We only take martial arts schools. Not gyms, not boutique fitness, not “wellness.” The funnel is genuinely different: the product is a first class, the buyer is a nervous adult or a parent doing research at 9pm, and the decision happens on a schedule page most agencies treat as an afterthought. Knowing one funnel properly is worth more to you than an agency that has seen four hundred industries once each.
That focus is also why we turn work down. One school per market on the search program, because we can’t rank two schools for the same zip codes and be straight with both. No franchise templates. No guaranteed rankings. If you’re not a fit, you’ll hear that in the first five minutes along with who to call instead.
The prices are published. The schedule of what you get is on the pricing page rather than behind a form. This page is static, pre-rendered and loads in under a second on a phone, because that is what we would build for you.

The schedule page is the homepage.
It’s where 40% of your visitors go first and where most agencies spend the least time. We design it first and build the rest of the site around it.
The trial has to be bookable at 9pm.
Nobody nervous about their first class wants to call during class. One offer, a short form, the schedule underneath. If they have to hunt for how to book, you don’t have a funnel.
Publish your prices.
Hiding them filters out price-sensitive people and nobody else. It also gets you excluded from every AI answer that compares schools. We publish ours, and we’ll push you to publish yours.
One school per market.
We can’t rank two schools for “bjj near me” in the same zip codes and be honest with both. On the search program, you’re the only one we work with in your area.
